Starker Week (Latin Version)

Hey guys! Welcome to our Latin Starker Week, a special event where we just celebrate our Starker devotion with each other and have a great time creating new content.

From July25th to July31st, a whole week where you can pick between one prompt or another. Feel free if want to choose both of them! Any kind of fanwork is allowed, as Starker underage as well if you like!

(Important: This little project began in the Spanish Starker fandom but we consider it´ll be more fun if more people joined! So all fanwork in both languages (ENG/SPA) can be together in an AO3 collection, the link will be available soon!)

Also all kind of fanwork is going to shared in our Starker fanpage so more people can enjoy your work!

     The high elf coughed and wheeze as the plumes of smoke caught in his lungs. This was it...this was how he died. Roasted away in a filthy dungeon of a soul hungry witch. He-...He didn’t want to die. Not here. Not now. In the darkness though, past the embers and the billowing black swirls of smoke he could hear something...or someone. A scream...the witch? He couldn’t tell.

In his weakness he had given up tugging on his cell bars and fell to the stone of his confinements, half alive and gasping for breath. The last thing he saw before oblivion claimed him was a shadow of a man looming closer before it all went dark....

Partner work. Rookie. Those words irked Kanda to the point of no return and yet they still managed to circulate round his head nonstop that morning. He finished his breakfast and headed to the courtyard where they had agreed to meet. Komui had made a new rule designed especially for disagreeable "solo players" in the Order (A.K.A. Kanda Yuu) to bond somehow with their assigned colleagues before before being sent off on missions "for the benefit of both Exorcists". He saw him standing there calmly, looking off into the distance and called to the other, "Oi. Are you the weight that I have to carry around?"

Kanda trudged down the hall, breathed in the familiar scent of "home, sweet home", exhausted as hell from his mission and only the thought that his room was but a few yards away kept him from falling asleep standing. "Just move your feet... One foot in front of the other... You're almost there to your bed..." He muttered under his breath, though in the back of his mind a voice whispered he just wasted oxygen reminding himself that. "Finally..." The exorcist placed a weary hand I the doorknob and stopped as he remembered something- no, someone important. He looked over his shoulder to the door across the hall, and that same nagging voice echoed that he would be lying if he said he didn't miss the person waiting behind it. Grudgingly, he lifted the hand from the knob to knock but... It just seemed awkward. What was he going to say if she answered? A million ideas rushed through his mind and suddenly he felt dizzy. "Woah... I need to stop pushing myself too hard..." His hand, which had been waiting to open a door, rested upon the smooth wood to support the tired samurai's weight. "Damn... Calm down... Just turn around and-" The door gave way. "FREAKING-!" He cried as he fell at Kanae's feet.
