H’aylio Rhu or Halo, or Hay-Hay’s is what H’ali called her when they were kids. H’alo lived in the valley, Raincatcher Gully just south of Wineport. Despite there being a clear four year gap between them the two seemed almost sibling or twins in nature. They were inseparable as kids H'ali constantly wanting to go down to visit and play in the gully. She envied the daylights out of how cool it was to just do anything they wanted to in the jungle and play in the water. Their favorite things were making mudpies to sun dry on the rocks and at one point had a secret pet tiny bulb they kept and took care of. Of course after the Calamity hit strain was placed on both the families. H’ali’s more so then Halo’s. Their used to be play dates had matured into hangout time and their hangout times were mostly them both venting at one another with complaints about the situations in general. Halo was the one to suggest running off on their own, see the world. Let their family fight it out and maybe, eventually someday they’d come back and see what was left. It was bit of a shock though that H’ali was the one to make the first move and runaway without her, without even saying anything. H’ali was the youngest of the two. It stung at first, that she didn’t come say good bye but Halo begun to understand why when H’loonh immediately rushed down looking for her. Though her own tribe wasn’t collapsing nearly as bad Halo too wasn’t happy with it and H’ali’s leaving prompted her own shortly after. Sadly neither of them planned anything ahead from leaving the jungle and just fantasized on where’d they go, the things they’d see with their newfound freedom. A minor set back as they both realized once on the road that they had no idea where the other had gone. While Halo looked into the guilds of Limsa, H’ali was on the ferry headed to Vesper Bay. It’s been nearly two years since the two girls last saw one another and H’ali just so happened to be coming back from patrol in the Fringes when she heard an all too familiar laugh causing her to whip her head around. She barely recognized her best friend and cousin with the new hairstyle she was sporting let alone the hatchet she had slung across her back. “Halo!” “..H’ali?! HO my gawds hi!” The two rushed towards one another arms out and slung themselves into a much needed hug. “It’s so good to see you,” H’ali said inhaling her scent from over her shoulder finding it to be flocked with a fresh grass and loamy soil smell. A far cry from the salt citrus strewn heat she normally had. Though her scent changed it still let H’ali feeling a bit misty eyed. She didn’t expect to see anyone of her family again. “I barely recognized you,” she exhaled pulling back and looking her over. “How you been?”
