The other members of the E.S.A.U. needed to fight with the H.C.F. higher-ups for both Senka and Cole to be allowed normal interactions with them beyond going on missions, arguing three points:
1. it would help the unit be more cohesive in the field if they were also allowed to interact in their downtime. The reasoning being that Senka and Cole would be viewed as team members and not simply weapons, thus allowing them to integrate better and for the human team members to feel more comfortable working with them while still retaining a healthy level of caution.
2. Building said bonds would also make it less likely that either or both of them would go rogue and leave the unit to their fate the moment things got dicey in order to save their own skins. It would also encourage them to temper their actions to avoid harming teammates.
3. It would provide more incentive for them to stay with the unit and the H.C.F. rather than leaving/escaping, thus avoiding wasting the time and manpower to recapture and incarcerate them, along with avoiding physical punishments and brainwashing which might lead to dangerous built up resentment that that would have a strong chance of blowing up in their faces. Especially given the H.C.F.’s past losses of other B.O.W. individuals.
(I felt the need to explain because evil organizations are probably not going to just let people they consider weapons/science experiments be chummy with their paramilitary branches without some kind of incentive and I also like to believe that, unlike Umbrella, the Organization learns from its mistakes and is willing to change tactics where needed.)
