the older girl is one he notices from the lab, remembers her face. not well, but well enough to be able to recognize her. but he has no idea how to approach her with the information that he knows her, no idea if she'd even remember him. and so, with little plan, he simply walks up to her, pausing in front of her a moment before lifting a sleeve to show her the number imprinted on his wrist.

                 DAPHNE KEEPS HER VOICE  low as she speaks  ,  slight smile on her lips as she leans in a little bit.  of course she’d ask for  direct  permission instead of just doing it  ,  she  does  care about heather  ,  after all.

                   ‘ cause i might not be able to keep my hands to myself from now on. ’

            CHAMELEON GIRL SMILES FROM  where she lays on her bed  ,  gentle hand resting on heather’s thigh when she speaks.  daphne minces no words  ,  hooking an arm around the girl’s neck to pull her into a slow kiss before smiling when they’re mere inches apart.

                   ‘ lost count of how many time i’ve thought about doing that.  next time you don’t have to ask. ’

“Yeah, pretty great isn’t it?” Steve spoke sarcastically as he leaned on the counter in front of him. He had made eye contact only briefly, feeling the judgement almost as if it were a physical entity wrapping around him. 

“Well, can I help you with something or did you just come by to try to make my day worse?”
