To h0beyy , you are correct; I most always scan a traditional pencil drawing and then paint the piece digitally, sometimes including textures. I have only recorded this process once, for this piece. The way in which I paint has changed considerably since, however this video displays the general workflow.
The traditional portion of this video is omitted, however I plan to post more up-to-date clips of hand-drawn sketching in the near future.
