Hooray for Orange County's HOORAY FOR OUR SIDE

SHAMELESS PLUG. GET READY FOR IT. IT'S IMPORTANT!

Up and coming Ska Punk band HOORAY FOR OUR SIDE has entered a contest to get the chance to open for fellow Orange County ska/pop/rock darlings SUBURBAN LEGENDS' CD Release Show for their anticipated new album, DAY JOB, which comes out April 3rd.

The reasons why I'm singling out H4OS's video entry:

a) It's the most creative entry in the contest, mirroring the kind of humor SUBURBAN LEGENDS displays in their shows and viral videos.

b) The band is made up of people who actually been going out to all of SL's shows for many years. I mean, every show. From their gigs in Disneyland (yep, INSIDE the park.) to shows in LA, OC, and beyond. As someone who has been going to SL shows for almost 10 years, I can vouch for their loyalty. I haven't seen another band with members like them. It's only right that they open this show. It goes full circle!

c) Their style of music is perfect to play in a show with Suburban Legends.

d) These kids need all the exposure they can get because they have a lot of potential.

e) They're awesome.
