Maybe Henry and Margaret + Star Wars AU?
Hi! It has literally been forever since you asked this, but at this point, is anyone surprised that I’m posting a fic late? (There are so many numbers in my ask box now but I have no idea what they mean...hehehe - this one was pretty easy to remember though!) This is probably more of a drabble, but I feel like all of my fics are. Prose writing is becoming less and less of a strong suit for me. Anyway, enjoy! (tagging @suits-of-woe because I’m obsessed with Henry and Margaret and I feel like we share that)
Okay okay hear me out:
Histories AU where Margaret of Anjou is the queen and Henry is her prince consort - maybe a modern AU? I just think that would make things so much better. Margaret could be the badass she knows she is and Henry could be her husband and they would be happy ahhhh
Is it canon? No. Historically accurate? No. But would they be happy? Heck yeah. Hotel? Trivago. ✨

Edward IV- “If you vote for me I will scrap the poll tax, and replace it with free beer and sex”
George of Clarence- “I’m really stupid, so I’m looking for a pancreas”
Richard III- “Well I haven’t got a heart” - “Yes, but none of us have got that”

Margaret of Anjou- *throws darts at a picture of her political enemy and lands two darts right in the eyes*
Cecily Neville- “I just spent three years of my life conducting an inquiry proving that you lot can’t be trusted. Now, I hope I can rely on you to not leak any of this information for one whole week,”

*screaming in excitement*
Okay so if we have a 1940s Henriad, that means we get a 1970s-2000s Wars of the Roses and I want to know who is going to make that fanart/stage that production
