Today and yesterday I’ve been doing pinterest boards for some of my original characters and thought I’d share a few. These are for my WIP called Kellopelisydän (The Clockwork Heart), a novel about clockwork hearts and mages without magic. Here is the board for Adele, the first of my three protagonists. She is seeking for a few to get rid of her clockwork heart and the burden of being an assassin. She is fierce, sometimes a bit careless, and always asking questions even when she really shouldn’t. Here is one for Elior, my second protagonist. He is an illusion mage, insecure and always questiong himself. He is pretty slow thinker but if he has enough time, his solutions are smart and unique. Elior is driven by a will to understand everything and find the hidden meaning behind things, and he is always thirsty for knowledge and learning. This one is for Eeben, my third protagonist. He is the charming mastermind, very intelligent and flirtatious with everyone. He is focusing on poison and medicine in his studies, but excels in pretty much everything. His weak points are overconfidence and his strong feelings for Elior. Here is the board for Marras, my young leader of clockwork assassins. He is street smart, bakes amazing bread, looks like a cinnamon roll but could actually kill you, and underneath all the steel and ice he is pretty soft and gentle. And the last one is for Haaksi, who is also an assassin. She is the coldest one of them and doesn’t really care about the lives she’s taking. She has a fondness for the sea, is skilled at throwing knives and loves hearing old stories. She has a low voice and very sharp eyes.
