Hm.

It’s funny when you stop and think about the relationship you had for the past 4 years and 9 months, and you only spent 1 birthday together... Now, that goes equally on both parts, but that should say a lot of the type of relationship we had. I personally find it heart wrenching that after trying time and time again, a person is incapable of subsiding individual differences for the greater good of the relationship as a whole. Whether it was anger over the “incompetence” of one (me), or the incapability of being anything but magnanimous (you), it’s no secret the arguments would never stop. Now, no one’s to blame. The fact that we settled for each other is quite clear. But, being in love is quite a mysterious thing. You tend to forget about the individual, and assimilate them as a part of you. But, that opens itself to you hating the other party if the personalities are conflicting in any way. And, so I’m left here. Pondering an old open wound lets you cry out and release all those negative feelings, and forgive as well as accept that it wasn’t meant to be... I’m okay, or at least I convince myself into being okay. I know that there are no doubts in our minds that this would have never worked. I came to hate your smug egotism attitude too much, and you always hated my nonchalant self. But, these are the people that we are right now, and even if we tried, we’d never change for another person. Now, these are the rambling words of a very hypersensitive individual who was reminded of your existence, just briefly, by the pain of another. I know these words will find a way to you, so just remember that I did love you. Go be creative, for Christs sake. You’re embarrassing yourself, Desu!
