Hacker Paradise - a programming retreat in Costa Rica.
I'm off to Paradise! I'm really looking forward to meeting all the like-minded people, learning from them and gaining skills with them.
I'll be keeping you all posted on projects and progress. I'm very happy to know the retreat had 47% female applicants. I was nervous at first regarding the gender make up especially since we'll be living together. But I have found a room mate and am looking forward to getting to know all the guys and girls.
I'm also looking forward to coming back and not only sharing what I've learned but how I've learned it.
