Blood and Electronics
The art of creating, mixing, combining, and hacking music is not complete without the visual aspects of it all. If I could think of one reason why spinning discs are still around in music – it is because it gives people the sense of time and motion. We know how a record works, but we don’t know what the DJ is doing to produce a certain sound or effect. This is kind of like a magician, who cannot break physical laws, but they can shift our attention to certain things to give us the effect that these laws are being broken. Seeing a complete DJ setup in motion is like watching a work of art that creates another work of art. Even old and vintage gear gives music that special appeal; knowing it can be done with the bare essentials as well as something advanced and high tech. Blood and electronics are a strange mix, but you should not be surprised someone has explored two objects that do not belong in the same sphere. Take it for what it is – this is an attempt at creating something wondering for both our eyes and ears to imagine. Feel free to disagree as well. http://createdigitalmusic.com/2014/07/blood-electronics-dont-miss-stunning-new-lusine-arterial-video/
