Mentor and Mentee. Yesterday while at Cycle Pitstop got to take this portrait of @jususaberdeen and 16 year old Michael who is being mentored by Jusus for many years to stay off the streets, teaches him how to build bikes and maintain his own for free at the shop. It's great to see places like this exist for the youth considering the amount of knife crime in London amongst the youth. So many already since the beginning of the year between Hackney, Islington and other boroughs around London. #pointshootthink #nanostories #hackneyyouth #putdowntheknife

Young Michael earlier from London Fields after he got done mending his break cable @jususaberdeen bike shop on Well Street. Michael worked in the shop on and off over the years which is a safe haven for the youth in the area. For example a short time before I came just outside my door two youths on a Vespa went to stab a youth at the bus stop below us. The youth being attacked pulled out a pepper spray and got his attacker in the eye who went to run off but was captured by the police.
