HACF S4 (with spoilers)
So, I’ve just watched season finale and what can I say... this season had a chance to patch things up but screenwriters mucked it up, sadly.
First, they killed Gordon (poor Gordon) and I wasn’t happy about that, to put it mildly. However, even after that there were so many options as to how end the series in a good way. But no, they did what I had felt they would do: eventually bring Donna and Cameron together. Even that would have been ok, if they hadn’t victimized Joe. I feel for him. It seems scrinwriters hate him. Though he was the most creative and hardworking character this season. And I didn’t like how they handled Hayley’s line. Overall, what we have is that they sacrificed the guys to make kind of a happy end for their beloved pair of girls. And it turned out that out of the foursome it is Donna who has gained the most and I don’t find it fair. Then again, life is often unfair and things like that happen. Also, Cameron has serious issues and her actions are inconsistent. She grew up compared to s1 but not enough. It feels she is somehow as lost as before.
Maybe I will write more later, but likely I won’t; who cares anyway.
