Hadley, can you tell us a little bit about your career before meeting Mizar?

‘Meeting’ Mizar is a rather charitable way to say ‘being taken hostage by’, but I digress.

I’ve been serving in the UL for almost twenty years, and I’ve been a captain for four of those. Before that, I worked many different positions - as a scout, a probe culler, station security, asteroid mining patrol, to say a few.

It has been eventful, and at times both extremely stressful and extremely boring. I feel so grateful, though, to have had the chance to travel the cosmos as widely as I did, and to have seen as many strange and wonderful worlds as I have.

It never got old. I only wish I could have seen more.

His ex had set this up, which he didn't really know how to take that suggestion. Of course, they were still friends, it was a mutual separation. But, this still seemed awkward. He wanted to trust his friend, though, another part of him thought it was too painful still, to be doing this. But that may have just been his stubbornness. He was still getting used to the separation, he supposed. Clearing his throat he walked up to meet the woman. Maybe he was questioning himself simply because he was now ten minutes late to this meet up "Hey!" He greeted as he approached "Hadley, right?" Jax questions, offering a grin "Sorry I'm a few minutes late...I'm Jax. I overslept...Anyway! I- Uh...Where- You want to go get some ice cream? Or a snack, or just go on some rides first?" He asked as he glanced over toward the rest of the theme park.
