Being alone, to Sunny, was a desired concept. He's not sure when he became committed to the idea of being forlorn when most would detest that kind of thing, but it washed over him regardless. The world was loud, and unsteady, or at least his world was. He was often wading in treacherous waters, wading the storm of his mother's irritability and his father's growing depression. So, being alone was welcomed. The quiet and what it had to offer was welcomed. He takes a night ride to The Boneyard, a place usually buzzing with young energy. But it was Sunday and a storm was brewing just along the coast, so Sunny saw it as a perfect opportunity to be, well, alone. The promise of rain doesn't bother him either, this too was welcomed. It gives him something to focus on, a distraction of sorts. When he arrives, parking his bike on the sand, he notices another just a few feet away. He recognizes it in an instant and suddenly, a sense of nervousness blankets him.
Sunny removes his helmet before leaning down to look into the rearview mirror, fixing his hair and approving his overall appearance. Hadley Song was pretty, altruistic, and similar to Sunny, evidently stoic. In truth, they were similar in many different regards, and perhaps that's what earns his nerves to rise to the surface. Still, he places his helmet on the seat of his bike and walks out onto the shore, spotting Hadley on the sand. Sunny approaches her carefully, taking a seat just beside her. "Waiting to watch the storm?" He asks, darting his gaze between her and the sea before them.
