In theory this pattern comes together really fast. In practice I’m making it take longer than maybe it should, because I’m using French seams and topstitching by hand, but if I wasn’t so irrationally averse to using a serger I probably could have one of these done in a day easily. I especially appreciate that there’s a minimum of hemming in this pattern - just a lot of wide binding.

Also I’m unreasonably excited about these new glass-head pins so you all get to look at them too.

The oil slick dragon is available now :) It is made with a polyester spandex fabric featuring an “oil slick” design that looks a lot like shimmery rainbow scales. It has a faux fur mane, a soft minky belly, and custom printed color shift eyes which change between shades of purple and blue depending on how the light hits them. It’s really a stunning shoulder dragon!
