What do you know about #HAFOSAFO? The Happy Foot / Sad Foot rotating sign is a much beloved Silver Lake landmark but who remembers the vintage sign that predates it's current incarnation? I have searched our internets but I only see images of the newer 1996 rectangle sign with the script lettering. I lived in that neighborhood in the early 90's with an earlier, and more elegant version of the Happy Foot Sad Foot. At least that's how I remember it but I wasn't able to find a single image of it.
