Libraries are for everyone.

Someone just told me that if they ever saw one of the Hafuboti posters in one of our libraries, that would be the last time they visited us - because libraries, they said, are for everyone who is here legally.

First of all, while it’s true that we don’t ask for papers when we welcome people to our library (and especially to our citizenship classes), what about this poster makes you think anyone depicted is an illegal immigrant?

Summer Reading is Coming...my new library display, full of fantasy and sci-fi. also featuring some great guardians of the galaxy library logos created by Hafuboti (http://hafuboti.com/2014/07/29/guardians-of-the-literacy/) who is not only awesome enough to make a lot of superhero themed logos but also invites people to use them in displays and share the results. if only I had some guardians graphic novels to put up there as well. but alas our branch woefully lacks those graphic novels. must order some to rectify that.
