Rewatching ds9 ep Buisness as Usual, and why the fuck is there so much homoerotic tension between Quark and Hagath (the arms dealer? Quark gets involved with) Within fifteen seconds of each other, this guy has, and in this order;
1) spoken to Quark very tenderly,
2) got into Quark’s personal space and rubbed his biceps
3) sat down next to Quark much, much closer then needed to and practically touched his knees with Quark’s
4) literally said he was going to be Quark’s sugar daddy,
5) gifted him a expensive as fuck all present as a, and I quote; “token of his esteem”
6) continues to sit inappropriately close to Quark
7) refers to him as “my dear Quark”
9) pinches Quark’s ears not a minute after we see Quark getting a ear-job/hand-job?
8) literally tells Quark that he loves him?? What is going on??
And it’s not as if Quark is bothered/creeped out by any of this, no, he’s actively reciprocating by;
1) getting into Hagath’s personal space as well,
2) crossing his legs when he’s sitting next to him and leaning in,
3) staring very intently at Hagath every time Hagath starts talking
4) sitting very close to Hagath
