They both have umbrella wands. Imagine how normal Hagrid feels, when he see’s Shouren take his wand out of his umbrella. They are Umbrella buddies.

Shouren holds nature, and dragons, at a very high regard. Something Hagrid does the same. Someone who finally understands his point of view, and won’t call him insulting names for it

i’ve actually built up a little list of camille and hagren stuff for if anything about their past comes up in campaign but now that hagren’s dead might as well post it here!

- They used to paint on bruises with tutsan when they were kids to get out of helping their parents and run off to play instead.

- It became a significantly more painful memory when a decade later Hagren was desperately trying to help Camille cover their actual bruises so they can come into work that day.

- Hagren was Camille’s first sparring partner! They both got very invested in the dueling and though Hagren was far more interested in the swords themselves, he would always indulge Camille.

- He once borrowed actual metal swords from his mother’s workshop and both he and Camille got into a lot of trouble for using those.

- When both of them were around 15 they were still figuring a lot of stuff about themselves out and experimenting a bit so. while not their first kiss overall, Hagren was the first man Camille kissed.

- It never went any further than that though and while Camille realized that they definitely were only into men, their relationship stayed exactly the same.

- They also managed to cut a lip on his tusks so that ended with a bit of blood on Camille’s side and a lot of panicking on Hagren’s side.

- He and Camille used to be the same height until early teens and while Hagren always expected to become taller than them because of his orc heritage, Camille still was surprised when he became a good foot taller than them.

- Madeline adores Hagren. He would babysit her quite often and would always answer all of her questions about blacksmithing, which she were fascinated with at a time.

- She has once told him that she wants to grow up “big and strong like him” right in front of Camille. He was secretly smug about it.
