At the end of his teens Boursin was welcomed into a Haida tribe whose shaman, a Raven Harpy, took Boubou under his wing (haha) and taught him shamanism to make him his successor. As a welcoming gift, the tribe made him a poncho representing him ... kinda.

The bear and the Raven already being emblematic animals in Haida traditions, I got inspired by traditional designs to create mine. It may change again (too many ibex, not enough bears) but the basis is here!

Sur la fin de son adolescence Boursin sera accueilli au sein d’une tribu Haïda dont le shaman, un Harpie Corbeau, va prendre Boubou sous son aile (haha) et lui apprendre le shamanisme pour en faire son successeur. En cadeau de bienvenu, la tribu va lui confectionner un poncho à son effigie… en quelque sorte.

L’ours et le Corbeau étant déjà des animaux emblématiques chez les Haïdas, j’ai pu m’inspirer de motifs traditionnels pour créer le mien. Il changera peut-être encore (trop de bouquetins, pas assez d’ours) mais la base est posée !

I started woth wood and argellite but soon discovered my passion for working with silver and especially gold.
