Haideis Harmonia
A new oc-? She's more like an additional character that I'm using for story purposes.
She's Ghetsis's Older Sister, being 2 years older than him.
I've always headcannoned Ghetsis to be in his 50s during Black and White, so in his late 30s when he adopts N, Anthea, Condordia and gets Lissa.
I've always felt that Ghetsis had great ambitions, but needed a lot of time to set everything up such as acquiring an underground Castle to raise the children, get the word around of Team Plasma, finding loyal men to be Sages.
I don't think the story of Team Plasma Ghetsis starts the moment he adopts N.
He planned things for multiple years, gaining the trust of many people to get the funds he would need to create his Team Plasma.
Just to say that if we consider this age for Ghetsis, and that we decide that Black and White would be happening during the year it was released irl (2010)
Ghetsis would have been born in the 60s.
And now we return to Haideis.
Since the two don't have much of an age difference, Haideis was also born in the 60s.
So for her outfit I took inspiration for 70s fashion, as she would have been a teenager during these years, and would follow the era's most popular style.
I've always imagined that the Harmonia Family would be a more 'traditional' family, and wouldn't approuve of bell bottom jeans.
I don't think Ghetsis and Haideis's parents would be too strict, (they will be, but that explaination will come later in the post) so they were still wearing fairly "strandard" clothing. They were comfortable financially, and I've always headcannoned that they would have been living in Lacunosa Town.
Because of the secluded nature of the Town, most people have pretty common pokemons with them, and even fewer actually go adventuring or go for the gym challenge. But because the Harmonia are well-off, Haideis and Ghetsis are able to get more rarer first pokemon partner.
They get them as Eggs at first and have to care for them until they hatch.
Ghetsis would have gotten a Pawniard.
Also
I used the same reference for Haideis's name as the one used for Ghetsis's.
They both have the two syllables of their names referencing music notes, more exactly tritones.
I had to learn music theory to actually understand what that meant. But tritones in music were once considered to be the 'Devil in music'
Ghetsis takes the G and C# notes
While Haideis takes the A and D# notes
She could have been named Heidis (similar to that one animated series/movie)
But I felt Haideis, which sounded more with Hades fit better with her family lore.
Now for the story / lore part ! :DDD
When she was young she was pretty friendly, though may seemed a bit haughty at first. Mostly caused by parents that didn't like being around people and constantly critized strangers.
Ghetsis compared to her was more introverted and enjoyed being by himself. He only ever really stayed with his sister, and honestly ? He didn't have friends, so he and his sister were pretty close.
Haideis was the smart and wise one, while Ghetsis was the timid, gentler one.
Their parents prefered Haideis over Ghetsis, as she seemed to have grand ambitions compared to his brother (how the table turned); and so she was able to start her pokemon journey early, at 14 years old.
Meanwhile Ghetsis didn't seem to interested in gym challenges, and studied history. He ends up leaving Unova when he turn 15 to study history in another region, Kalos.
Before he leaves Haideis comes back to give him a pokemon egg, and that this pokemon could become his future partner.
But during his absence, tragedy strikes the Harmonia family.
Haideis is found dead in Chargestone Cave.
It was found that she was attacked by a pokemon, most likely belonging to someone as the marks left on her body do not correspond to anything that wild pokemons of the area.
All of her money and everything valuable she had was not found on her body, confirming that a human used his pokemon to kill her.
Ghetsis immediatly comes back to Unova for the funeral.
Haideis is buried near her home.
Her death shapes Ghetsis's way of viewing people in the future. The murderer is never found, and it constantly reminds him that someone used their pokemon as a weapon.
Ghetsis promises himself, and in a way his sister to make a world safe for humans and pokemons. (Which over the years get warped into the idea that humans and pokemons need to be seperated since they are so dangerous)
Oh, and the egg that Haideis gave him ?
When it hatched, a Deino came out of it.
