Punk rock graffiti, Hornsey station, London; 15.10.2016. Among the scratchings in the concrete floor of this passageway at Hornsey station are ‘1977’ and ‘NO FUN’, the latter a reference to the song by the Stooges that was also covered in 1977 by the Sex Pistols. I hadn’t noticed it before but I now recognize the word ‘HAIGEY’ underneath. I took a photo with my phone of some graffiti in the Harringay Passage where that name appears, along with a date, again ‘1977’. I wonder what happened to Haigey.
