we're back! welcome and get comfortable because this will be a tad-bit longer than the other one.
this textpost will cover all of the story-important side characters, though some of the swaps may seem like a bit of a stretch.

✎ Hailey ⟺ Travis (not the biggest switch, but I like it)
Hailey is now more of a laid-back employee of Clear Minds, working alongside Charles and Travis on a mission to neutralize various supernatural threats that have escaped The City.
she is very sweet and compassionate, though she has a tendency to be vaguely manipulative when things don't go her way (Charles will also take advantage of her skills often)
her ability remains, though it is not used as often or intensely. her general personality does a lot of the work for her already.
she is taller and chubbier, she has a few scars (often covered by bandages or clothing), and she has a faint Southern accent.

Travis is now the pragmatic, more capable employee alongside Charles and Hailey, keeping track of their progress and maintaining clear communication with the organization as they continue the mission.
he's very focused but not focused enough to crack a joke every once in a while. he and Charles get into arguments quite a bit because Charles knows he's hiding instructions from him.
he still does not have an obvious ability, but he makes up for it in a very decent understanding of the mechanics of abilities (he is one of the few people who can easily neutralize people with them)
he's shorter and his hair is well-kempt. he gives off a general clean-cut vibe, but he has a few tattoos on his arms and back. his accent is gone.
✎ Peter Graves ⟺ Lady
Graves is now a ghost Charles and Hendrix meet on their mission, who they agree to find a body for in exchange for information Graves claims to have about a rift.
he's generally optimistic, if a bit spacey at times. he and Hendrix get along well, mostly because Hendrix likes having the control of someone even less knowledgeable about the world than he is.
he gets Lady's ability to 'go ghost', which allows him to turn invisible and pass through walls. he can also slightly possess objects, but the one time he does it around Charles gets him normalized (which does not feel good for a ghost)
he's semi-transparent most of the time, his voice echoes, and there are obvious signs of exhaustion and undernourishment on him.

Elizabeth Lady is the employee assigned to work with E after him and Lucian get stuck in Clear Minds. She assists with his cases to the best of her ability, though she is decently new to the organization.
she's considerate, if a little closed-off. she doesn't like talking about her personal life, so E doesn't ask questions. he ends up getting really attached to her (to an unhealthy degree-- he's not the most normal guy)
she now has the ability to either cause 'brain fog' or extreme clarity to people, which makes them easier to question or confuse. if she tries hard enough, she can read basic thoughts or emotions. she originally dismisses her ability as just coincidence, but E takes advantage of her ability since he loses his own eventually.
she's much healthier and her long black hair is kept in a bun. she wears round reading glasses and loves the gothic aesthetic despite working in an office space.
✎ Rowan Veda ⟺ Ewyck
Veeda is now a humanoid entity which dwells in an abandoned science facility. the team goes to them for assistance with acquiring some information, but they don't give it away so kindly.
they're morbidly curious about humans and reality, mostly because they don't fit either criteria. they are especially curious about Charles and Graves, which they show through completely ignoring the other three.
they can manipulate the space they're found in and create 'afterimages' of themselves to affect multiple things at once. they're also crazy strong and violent if provoked.
they are freakishly tall and have a large amount of insect eyes. various tendrils on their head mimic hair, and they wear a torn lab coat and goggles from a long-dead scientist.

Marcelyne Ewyck is one of the head biologists at Clear Minds, and she establishes communication with Lucian after he joins a seminar of hers about abilities.
she's apathetic to those beneath her and is decently condescending. Lucian and her don't get along at first, but her curiosity overrules her desire to shoo him away.
she doesn't have an obvious ability, more interested in using her own hands and intelligence to create and study things. she thinks people who use abilities are lazy or only valuable if they serve her goals more like tools than living people.
she's an older woman with grey-brown hair, freckles, and decently sharp teeth. She is never seen without gloves of some kind and always keeps some form of weaponry on hand(mostly a taser or an electric flyswatter)
