I love the blue line because it looks and sounds like a space ship. but I hate the blue line because it’s slow as hell and runs like shit on the weekends
The Blue Line really has taken it on the chin with the Government Center closing. I know State is 100 years old but given how it took years to redo it you think putting in some provision to accommodate the additional crowds as State has temporarily turned into Downtown Crossing Jr.
The burbs northeast of Boston have REALLY taken it on the chin transportation wise with the GC closure, the Callahan closure, the inevitable future Sumner closure, and the Tobin painting.

Wow I’ve never seen any type of public transportation empty. This is kind of cool. I bet it was peaceful.
It happens from time to time but on the Blue Line it's because not many people have a reason to go to the end of the line at Bowdoin especially on a weekend unless something is happening at City Hall Plaza.
Taking the penultimate inbound Green D of the night a few weeks back was a bit more awesome. Lemme find that pic.
