“Don't settle for average. Bring your best to the moment ... We need to live the best that's in us"
Ya’ll I need some help
Okay so I’m Haitian-American. I’ve been exploring my spirituality for about two years now. My mom is catholic, and my dad and stepmom are baptists. For a while, I’ve considered myself an atheist. I still do now, but I feel called to explore more areas of my spiritualy. In particular, I want to learn more about my connections to my ancestors. I think I want to learn more about Haitian Vodou, but I don’t know where to start. None of my family really talks about it.
Could some practicioners of Haitain Vodou help me out?? It would be very much appreciated.
Also, if you are someone who isn’t even Haitian (or someone not even descended from anywhere in the African Diaspora) trying to come up on this post to discuss Haitian Vodou, I am now asking you to not even attempt such a thing. I’d like to learn about my culture from other people in my culture. Thanks❤️💙🇭🇹
