When in a thread the other character asks what the plan is. . . .
Well. Sanzo does do a lot of thinking and analyzing so he could have a plan. There are plans in Saiyuki sometimes. Like with Hakkai and Sanzo pulling one over centipede dude. Or when they all worked together to beat Kami.
. . . or his plan is just “shoot the idiots and shove the other idiots out of the way.”
After all, throwing a woman out into a hallway when you’re being shot at is still a rescue, right?
