Headcanon A:  realistic

i’m personally on the “he’s an alien” side of the debate, i also believe he genuinely likes to hang out with toyohiro... two weirdos looking down on the common folk... i bet they both have some unique stories to share with each other!!

Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious

josuke once asked him to haunt rohan’s house by disguising himself as something small and insignificant, and make noises. little did he know, rohan thought this is an amazing oppurtunity to pluck more inspiration, and decided to look for the “ghost” to heaven’s door him in the hopes of reading some cool murder story. he started bragging about his house being haunted, and josuke knew that if he catches mikitaka, he will be able to read that it was josuke who tried to prank him. so then he just asks mikitaka to quit haunting rohan. rohan misses him every day and develops an obsession to rumored haunted objects and houses

Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends

mikitaka was banished from his colony of aliens, that’s why he escaped to the earth. he has no family left otherwise and he’s kind of an odd one out even in morioh. he quite often feels lonely because of this

Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own

he takes josuke and okuyasu on regular space excursions just because he can. josuke once invited rohan, hoping that he will be able to kill him on the moon with a rock but rohan has learned his lesson and keeps refusing. so then its just josuyasu space dates with their nicest third wheel mikitaka.

A: Of the fanfic you’ve written, which is your favorite and why?

definitely a brand new doomsday, not only because i’m proud of it as a piece of fanfiction, but because of how cathartic the writing process was. it was hard and i doubted myself a lot, but everything ended up looking almost exactly like it did in my head. the conclusion i came to was “someone with a better grasp on the english language and literature might be able to write this so much better, but they will not write it. what i want to write will only exist if i write it” and that made me feel… powerful, i guess. by the end i was very excited to show it off, and having that amount of passion driving you while creating something, it shows on the final product. people have told me how strongly it made them feel, maybe even made them cry, and that feels very rewarding!

i also learned a lot about myself in the process, since the topic of grief is extremely personal to me - all three of the boys have different pieces of my experiences, thoughts and feelings. girono is a mix of denial, aimlessness, and self-destruction - i’d even say that he is likely suicidal. fugo is attempting to understand and rationalize feelings, but failing to do so, and ending up putting the blame on someone else. while he has a grasp on how others might feel, he fails to find colleration between the two, resulting in uncertainty that he is unable to take, when his judgement gets too clouded by his emotions. and finally, mista might look like he’s taking it well, but deep down he is lonely and lost, but feels like taking care of the others around him is his responsibility, resulting in a facade that isn’t even that hard to break. having all of it to be so personal really drained me, but it was definitely worth it - being able to express yourself unapologetically and have others hear it feels very good. 

J:  What’s your favorite fanfic trope?  Have you written it?

Not sure if it’s a trope, but having characters go through trauma that changes them in irreversible ways, but as time passes, they learn to find solace in their current situation, to live with it and grow from it - i think that’s very neat (and also the reason why i cling so hard onto post-vento settings. plently of growth to be done). and why yes i have written it, all 3 of my currently published fics have elements of that concept.

42. Cojones - Origin of Fire

okay so i knew this band earlier but i discovered them again this year with their album resonate... it’s so goddamn good and yet so underrated. these guys have so little listens on spotify monthly that after i discovered them, budapest has showed up in their ‘most listened at’ list (that’s where I live). honestly, give them some love, this album is friggin amazing
