Spirited away earrings breakdown!

These earrings take the blue calming sky from Spirited Away as the main inspiration. I wanted to create something that was unique and had a ripple effect. My take on that was to do different types of beads into one earring. From there I layered each bead to mimic the ripples of the ocean and the stars in the sky.

What's more is that I chose to focus on the ending of the movie. While there are many breathtaking moments in the movie, I find the ending to be one that speaks to me the most. Overall, the lesson in Spirited Away is being able to handle the change and grow. I hope with these earrings you'll be able to grow as well.

There are so many cretinous, slimey, vile human beings on this planet. I've never wished anyone dead but if i could curse people, turn them into frogs or gremlins...i would. I'm fortunate to be aquainted with the creme de la creme of humanity, and i love them so much i could squeeze them til their eyes popped out.

I'm exhausted but tonight it's time to celebrate one of my favourite people's birthdays, i will most probably get overly drunk and embarrassing, fall over and cry.

I wish i could see all of my favourite people all the time.

I miss Hannah and Hank already.

I've had such a nice weekend with my adopted family in their beautiful little house dancing like a creep, going for walks along the canal, eating vegan cake, spooning Han whilst she's asleep, waking up with Hank asleep on my hand or licking my face, ruining group photographs with my always entertaining face and buying family bus tickets to a warehouse sale in the middle of nowhere.

No matter what life throws at me, Hannah Slater is always there to throw it back.
