      As the old saying went, “curiosity killed the cat”, and Worick felt very much like a feline of late with how often he was acting upon his own fanciful whims. Then again, it wasn’t every day that one could quite literally travel across dimensions - and in such an easy fashion, no less. Still, one look at the place his travels took him to this time made the handyman question his choice in exactly which other dimension he paid a visit to. After all, he was never too big on schools, and was certainly far too old to pass as a student here. Perhaps he could lie and say he was a substitute teacher of some sort, but the idea was purged from his head as quickly as it entered.

      After all, most substitute teachers weren’t toting a loaded handgun through the school’s halls. 

      Removing the gun from its’ holster, Worick debated simply leaving the thing outside and scoping out the building in the event something was amiss. But, as he internally deliberated as such, the sound of footsteps hit his ears as a young woman approached, looking rather intently at Worick and the gun in his hands. His eyes widened briefly at having been discovered - he was sure he had been careful - but instead he took a breath, placed the gun back in its’ holster and attempted to play it cool.

      《Haah... sorry about that. Security officers aren’t usually supposed to pull out their guns without a reason, are they? 》Worick internally cursed himself for using an excuse that would undoubtedly not work, but perhaps he could deceive this one person just this once.

     There shouldn’t be anyone on this floor besides the members of S.E.E.S. that were running around and searching for the stairs, fighting shadows and collecting anything laying around. Not only had Fuuka not announced a missing person to be found but Theodore hadn’t informed her that there was anyone to find. Yet just a few feet in front of her was a figure unmistakably human but no one that she knew. Caramel colored hair that fell near as long as Minako’s own when it was let down, a uniform cut and colored far different from the ones of Gekkoukan, Minako was led to cant her head and approach slowly. It was unlikely that she was a shadow, Fuuka would have mentioned if she was, but caution was still to be exercised. 

     “Excuse me?” Minako broke the chilling stillness in their corner of the floor, voice chipper as could be, and swinging her naginata into her other hand and behind her back, Minako reached out her right hand to the girls shoulder. “It isn’t safe to be here. I can escort you out and get you home once the hour is up.”
