HAL COOPER TRAVELED. around town, around the borders of the city of los angeles, looking for.. someone very specific - someone had yet to find. for a man with one hand, for a man who had previously been dead - dead, right until the moment he had been pulled here, the desire for revenge bigger than anyone he had ever felt, he had surely managed to do VERY WELL for himself in this town. no one knew of the work that the black hood had previously done for the town of riverdale - cleansing it of it’s sins, cleansing it of everything that made it bad and.. perhaps, it was better off that day. he was calm about it, calmer and more relaxed than he had ever been, because.. he could do it. in here, he was nothing more than a normal man - a mechanic, with his own shop (it made him bitterly thing of the time he had spent with betty, all those years, fixing cars, trying to show her that.. they were alike. they were one and the same and.. hal would get the chance to show it to her, soon enough) and.. he was biding his time, waiting, for the moment where he could get the chance to clean this town of it’s sinners, just like he had done for riverdale. still, as soon as he knew that his daughter was here, hal didn’t hesitate. SHE WAS HIS DAUGHTER - no matter how much she had tried to claim that she wasn’t, no matter how much she liked to claim that she hated him, it was alright, because.. hal knew the truth. he knew he and betty were one and the same - she was his daughter, much more than she was alice’s. he stopped, right outside of her apartment door, letting his hand knock on the wood for a few moments. when the door was opened, the smile on hal’s face remained.. even if betty had betrayed him before, he wouldn’t let it happen again. they didn’t need anyone - neither polly or alice, they just.. needed themselves. “hello, betty. i heard you were... looking for me? well, here i am.”
