15, 20, 21, and 26! for the book ask memememememe

15:What book changed your life?

The bible. Hahaha, jk jk. Honestly I don’t think I’ve read a book that has substantially changed my life. Most of the books I’ve read are fantasy books, so all I get from them are lots of feels, but nothing in them has radically adjusted my world view or ideals. 

20:Best summer read?

Anything by Ellen Hopkins. She’s a great author, all of her story plots deal heavily in the real world, and her story writing is in stanzas of poems. So when reading her books, your also reading poetry.

21:Best winter read?

For me, I go back and read children stories from my past. Stone Fox, The Last of the Really Great Wangdoodles, and old picture books that I keep for (Comet’s Nine Lives). During winter I get nostalgic and these books are a nice piece of my childhood that I can look back on.

26:If you could be a character from a book for their entire life who would you be and why?

I have a few characters in mind; Lyra from The Golden Compass, and Yukio from Storm Dancer. Both of them have rough family ties, but finding family on their own is kinda amazing for what such young girls could do. Not to mention magic animal companions. So cool.

🐹 what are some of your favourite Pokémon and why?

I love most the generation 2 pokemon. Cyndaquil is the dearest to my heart, who was my very first starter, as well as Scraggey bc it can go from cute to pissy in 0.2 seconds and I LOVE. And Lugia is my favorite legendary. I saw Pokemon 2000 in theatres and it’s sleek design and valiant nature really won me over. However the new generation for Alola is blowing me away. I really like Null, Popplio, Drampa, Salandit, and I really really like Mudsdale. I dont have a particular reason for liking them other than the fact that their designs as well.

🌺 which languages do you know? which do you want to learn?

I know english very well of course, and I have spent years (about 4 or 6?) to master spanish, though its really hard to do it in my house. Its easy to fall into the habit of just listening to english and it doesn’t help w/ hanging onto spanish.

Languages I’d like to learn are Norwegian, Swedish, Icelandic. Purely for the fact that my grandmother knew them all and didn’t pass them onto her children. It bothers me so much. I’d like to get familiar w/ other languages, mostly spoken in southern california. There’s tagalog, vietnamese, korean, like everything on this list X.

🐬 if you could transform into any animal/magical creature, what would you be and why?

Okay but centaurs are really under rated. Think about how fast you can run as a half horse. And in the mythos centaurs are really smart mentors and badasses who fight. So their like the best of chill and kickass creatures.

🎤 what’s the last song you hummed or sang by yourself?

River by Bishop Briggs. I love the beat.
