It feels weird for me to make an OG post about anything that's not all that important, but I just wanted to say that I'm finishing my novel tonight and releasing it in its entirety to my beta readers. It's been about 8 years in the making and I'm so ready for it to be finished so I can start on something else.

i’ve felt pretty shitty over the past two weeks but tonight was probably the worst. i just wanna feel like me again.

sup i was gonna talk about personal stuff but i can't find the readmore thing so nevermind

today he came home and hit me in the face and demanded to see what "lies" i told my mom about him. he took my phone and laptop and went through all of my photos and texts because i had talked to her last night and told her what was going on and she confronted him

he was looking through my pictures and was like "wow you sure do take a lot of selfies for someone who looks like a dyke" and started to talk about how i shouldn't have cut my hair and how i at least looked decent before and he didn't understand why andrew liked me

i'm using my old little netbook now bc he doesn't know i have it. i'm trying to keep my chin up bc i know he'll be gone in a couple of months and i won't ever have to see him again if i don't want to but i don't think i can handle this any more

dad: why didn't you do this not very important thing that would have required a lot of energy

me: i've been sick and the dog was sick and i've had to take care of the both of us bc you haven't been home

dad: oh

[ approximately five minutes later ]

dad: what's wrong with you

me: i've been sick for the past three days

dad: um how come you never told me

everyone thinks im better now, i have to be better. i can't get sick again.

this thanksgiving i am thankful for boys who wear sweatpants without underwear
