I think that this slideshow really captures the essence of Steve Jobs, his larger-than-life quality. It's amazing how much people have been affected by his passing, even though they have probably never met him in person before and never planned to do so. You see people bidding farewells in different languages, people in different countries mourning, even toddlers just old enough to walk writing "goodbye Mr. Jobs" in Crayon. Steve Jobs didn't just build devices. He convinced everyone that each product he had created was somehow different. That it was an old concept rehashed into something that you needed, even if you didn't realize it yet. But in the end, I think the most touching image was photo 32, the one from the neighbor. It reminds everyone that in the end, while he was an icon to us, he was a father and a husband and a friend to others.
