“Oh Lord, oh Peter what have they done to you...” Koschei was horrified when he finally found his lost lover. It had taken months but he never gave up, he was going to find Peter again no matter what. These savages, these humans, he would tear them all apart for taking Peter from him. He could only assume Peter had been taken for his mixed blood, but the reason didn’t matter to Koschei. What mattered was that he’d found Peter, and he was going to wreck havoc on his kidnappers. 

He slowly approached Peter, as not to startle him. Who knew what condition he might be in after being locked up here for so long and had God knows what done to him. Koschei himself was splattered with blood from slaying the guards, and looked like he hadn’t slept a day since Peter had gone missing. He just wanted to hold Peter in his arms again. 

“I will get you out of here.” He said and reached out to undo the bounds that held him, ripping them apart to free his lover.

Koschei sat at the edge of the bed, not facing Peter and just staring at the wall. It was getting harder and harder to deny himself more, he wanted to indulge the feelings he had for the man, and he knew Peter wanted it too. It was actually pretty sweet how Peter never asked or never pushed for more, even if it was something they both wanted so much. 

There was just one thing Koschei had never told Peter. It wasn’t like he expected to ever become this close to the man, and it wasn’t like he’d intentionally kept it secret. Peter knew he was not of this Earth, knew he had powers beyond the supernatural. What he didn’t know was that Koschei had a secret that was almost human in its nature. Time Lords weren’t supposed to feel this way, they were supposed to be okay with change and new bodies. But when Koschei had gotten this one, it had just felt wrong.

“My kind...” He started, having to stop and clear his throat before continuing. “My kind are supposed to change and accept it.” He was clearly nervous. “When we die...we regenerate, our bodies become new. I have done it many times, but when I got this one I couldn’t accept it. It didn’t feel like me. I’ve tried to change it, but I could only do so much.”
