ooough oomfie this has been in my inbox five-ever sorry but Yes i see the vision 🙂↕️ i've read so many pup robby fics/textposts but for some reason in my writing i feel like i cannot do it realistically and in character idk why 😭 very much imagining this as jack getting super into it immediately and robby being super in his head about it and only really agreeing because dennis really wants to try it out
BUT i think that dennis takes on the dom role so naturally, something neither of them expected from that socially awkward walking stutter, so robby can't help but just follow every command he's given, letting himself give up control for the first time in his life to someone other than jack

Other thing I’m: not at home but technically on a writing retreat in my dad’s childhood home. I have to myself an extremely wood-paneled house filled with family history and so much personality. The only way I wouldn’t write in a place like this is I get too into researching my roots (great-grandma had a tough but fascinating life, I’m very much gravitating towards her in particular, and her mom was something of a witch? Knew her healing herbs and that sort of stuff) I mean??

best ask ever btw, i spent like half of my shift thinking about this. ok speedrun bc there's a lot (all the main doctors + dana), so i'll try to keep it brief
also i've literally been working on a post of the pitt characters x what x-man i think they're most like, but for this im going to try and go just off powers and not personality similarities with any outstanding mutant characters (for the most part)
santos - something elemental, thinking iceman or pyro -esque, leaning more fire with her (although i'll say personality/backstory wise, i relate her the most with magik)
collins - empathic and emotional manipulation based on the way she interacts with patients and the other doctors
robby - self indulgently i want to give him rogue power absorption bc of the emotionally stunted parallels i can draw between them, but realistically i'd have to go cliche and say healer, but very minor, like scrapes and small burns level. kickstarts his interest in medicine
whitaker - ngl i feel like he'd have some physical mutation that isn't super obvious and he keeps hidden (internalized homophobia parallel, anyone?) like beast's feet in xmfc
king - empathic but not able to manipulate emotions
garcia - teleportation bc i think it'd be helpful with being called all around the hospital to consult
langdon - he gives me havok style plasma blasts vibes in the sense that he has to be really careful and emotionally level or else he can be very destructive. not from his chest tho, maybe his hands? insanely dangerous for a doctor but i mean...
javadi - this is lazy and obvious but photographic memory / super intelligence would fit her really well
mckay - idk why but my first instinct is kitty pryde style phasing
abbot - my boy love his gadgets lol, it's gotta be intuitive understanding / designing of tech stuff like forge or technopathy
ellis - something to do with adaptability, maybe jitter's power where she can be a pro at any skill for a really short period of time?
shen - insane healing factor but not immortal or unkillable, just enough to match his levels of nonchalant
evans - telepath, but not like omega level or anything super strong
mohan - this is the hardest one to think of in an effort to not make every other person here an empath... force field generation maybe? something lowkey that has to do with protecting others. secondary mutation super stamina
