Q | A ship you’ve abandoned and why | Erm…I go back and forth on Kataang.  Sometimes I tolerate it, sometimes I abhor it.  Generally, though, I don’t mind it.

W | 5 favorite characters from 5 different fandoms | Blair Waldorf (Gossip Girl), Westley (The Princess Bride), Flynn Rider (Tangled), Mary Ingalls (Little House on the Prairie shhhh it’s a fandom from when I was five, okay?), Mr. Darcy (Pride and Prejudice)

E | Have you added anything stupid/cracky/hilarious to your fandom, if so, what | Well, not on purpose at this point (that I can remember), although I don’t put it past myself to come up with something ridiculous at some point.

R | A pairing you ship that you don’t think anyone else ships | Aang/Meng.  …What?  Don’t look at me like that!  She could grow out of her stalkerishness and they could be really cute together.

T | If you mostly have homoships, do you have any heteroships | This isn’t really…applicable?

Y | A fandom you’re in but have no ships from | I thought of one since the last time I got this question, although it’s for a fandom I was in about a decade ago.  Back in the (long ago and far away) day, I really liked Newsies and I didn’t have any ships there.  Occasionally I would deign to agree that there was some merit to Jack/Sarah, but, really, you can’t trust someone who wakes up with her hair looking that good first thing in the morning.

U | If you mostly have heteroships, do you have any homoships | Um…no…not really.

I | Has tumblr caused you to stop liking any fandoms, if so, which and why | No, it hasn’t.  I try to stay out of quarrels and try to follow people who make positive contributions to fandom, so I usually manage to avoid/ignore the more negative aspects of fandom.

O | Choose a song at random, which OTP does it remind you of | *oh shuffle function, I call upon you again* “Berry Pickin’ Time” - Great Big Sea … Jim/Pam from The Office because he loved her and wanted to marry her and did marry her and they had babies and it was awesome.

P | Invent a random AU for any fandom (we always need more ideas) | I have one that I think is pretty good for ATLA, but I’m keeping it a secret for now because I want to write a story about it and I don’t want anyone beating me to it.  Hm…what if the gaang and other benders were a science experiment?  Like, genetically modified and kept in their own colony and observed by the scientists and then one day they get out into the real (aka our) world and their whole self-perception is blown to bits?  There would be culture shock and probably some chasing of the escapees going on and it could end either really well or really tragically.  That could be fun.  Now that I think about it, it’s kind of like a book I read in middle school that I can’t remember the name of.  That one ended sadly, though.

Why are you calling me a child?  I'm older than you.  I adore you, too, okay?  And I'm never sure whether I'm cute or just super, really, ridiculously annoying.  So I'm glad you think it's cute.

M | Virgin or not? | Me?  No.  The whole tying-the-knot-and-changing-the-name affair took care of that.  But since that’s not new info courtesy of the last ask, how about—drinks?  I usually prefer the nonalcoholic version, actually.  So yeah, virgin drinks for me.  ;)

E | My best friend. | I had a goldfish in college that I really liked.

L | One of my insecurities. | That you will all grossly judge me for these answers.

O | My eye colour. | Dark brown.

D | Hardest thing I’ve ever been through. | The real answer is not something I want to share on Tumblr, but the Tumblr-shareable answer is that living overseas for a few years after college was at once the most awesome and the most difficult thing I’ve ever done.

Y | Do you want to go to college? | Again?  No.  I’m happy with my BA and I don’t wanna go back.
