So you know how when the show starts out Sokka's trying his best to be a leader to the village and a warrior but he's failing and then soon after he meets Suki who is a leader and a warrior. She's everything he's trying to be. And he lets her teach him and eventually he comes into his own. It's just he admires her so much and it's perfect. Okay, that's not a question, just a bunch of feelings.
And another thing. Just like how Suki inspired Sokka to be a better leader and warrior. Sokka inspired Suki to travel and get out there in the world to help as many people as she could. It was like they wrote their own fate that had them running into each other at Ba Sing Se.
This is one of the many reasons why I love these two together. They complement each other so well, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, they help each other grow. Both become better people by knowing the other.
Suki is able to actually kick Sokka's butt to get him over his sexism, and Sokka is able to broaden Suki's horizon. Suki learns that no place is safe from war, and staying in one place isn't going to stop anything. Yes, protecting your loved ones is important, but you can do so much more when you're out there making a difference.
Suki and Sokka are a wonderful couple, and thank you so much for your input. Everyone should send in why they love Sukka~! I love messages like these <3
