❛ 09 . a kiss to prove a point . / laugjing at the idea of this
‘Oh, come on, you and Levi have something going on.’ Leave it to Hange to push buttons. They did it for fun, of course, but it left Chelsea and Levi with a dangerously difficult task to accomplish: proving Hange wrong. It’s not like they weren’t wrong; they most certainly were, as there was nothing going on between the two of them –– but Hange had a way with words that made even the most capable scouts stumbling to justify themselves. Levi had defaulted to his usual ‘tch’ and various expletives, but Hange was simply not letting up. So now it was Chelsea’s turn. While Levi thought she would simply fire back at them, she took a... different route. After insisting she feels nothing romantically for Levi, she turns to him and tugs him in by the collar of his jacket. Next, she does the unthinkable: she kisses him.
Hange’s mouth immediately hangs open in shock, as Chelsea pulls away with a shrug and a, ‘See? Nothing. It’s like kissing a cold, wet, dead fish.’
( She could’ve stopped after ‘nothing’ ... ) ❛ –– What the fuck? ❜ is all he can say.
Levi blinks at Chelsea as she turns back to Hange, likely to avoid the dead stare he was shooting her. Hange, of course, bursts into a fit of laughter. Finally, Levi gathers his thoughts, and his arms cross over his chest. Another ‘tch’ is heard escaping his lips before he speaks.
❛ I can think of a dozen better ways you could have handled that. ❜
