"I have heard people say that 'Talos is the only mortal to become a god.' Is this something that you believe? Arkay is also said to have been mortal before becoming a god as well (though I am not an expert on Arkay by any means), but do you believe that? And what are your thoughts on the supposed godhood of the original Tribunal (ie Vivec, Amalexia, Sotha Sil) and on the King of Worms? I am rather curious, I'll admit."
"Those are quite the questions you ask," Ulfric replied, an almost pained frown revealing the fact that he was taking his time pondering over the questions and his answers. Surely, he had an opinion on these things, but he was no expert. He hoped the stranger expected no wise words from him, lest he would disappoint. "I don't know if Talos is the only mortal to have become a god, but since he is always the one referred to as the mortal that became a god, rather than a mortal that became a god, I doubt any of the other Divines once were mortal."
Another pause followed, and the frown on his forehead became even more visible. "I know little about the original Tribunal. I vaguely remember being taught about those back when I studied at High Hrothgar, but I have to admit, none of that knowledge stuck with me. I've heard many stories of the King of Worms, however. Varying stories, at that. In a way, I admire his persistence, but I don't like or approve of necromancy, and I never understood the fascination with living forever. Seeking after godhood never ends well. If you were even to desire such a thing, you'll have to be worthy of it."
