With an irritated sigh, Therion would cut down a few more monsters before retreating to one of the safe zones. He didn’t know how these monsters could just appear in endless waves,and he had to wonder when or if it would get any easy. Clutching the wound on his side, he quickly made it to one of the safe zones and sat down off towards the side. His gaze would glance up as another person limped into the healing zone, though he seemed slightly more wounded than he was.

He brandished his anchor-spear proudly. It may have only been a short time but to hold it in his grip again made it feel as if it had been months. Too long. He swung it about widely within the crowds of invading beasts. It was his style to down the numerous in a fiery blaze than waste the short bursts of full strength he was blessed with. Those that weren’t pummeled into the ground were sent sky-high - he was relentless, heavy-hitting but careful and even at half his strength he showed no fear. Boldly he’d fend off beasts his size. 

“Yan Qing…”  He growled under his breath. Igniting a flame at the iron end of his spear. 

“Show yourself, coward!” Another falls at his feet. “These beasts show more spine than you!” Perhaps he had been a bit more agitated by the sudden abandonment than he had cared to take notice of initially. 

A fanged beast, hunched on his bear-like haunches turned its attention suddenly. Wiping his head around it made for another target. Should that prey seem easier or perhaps they were just closer - regardless, the monster was on the move, and beyond the pirates range. “O-oi there! Look alive!”

TO say his time in Spirale so far was hectic would be a complete understatement, and he was happy that things seemed to be restored for now. He wasn’t exactly a fan of the large crowds the restored city drew out, but it was at least better than the city being in ruins. Plus, the newly improved city certainly piqued his interest. But, exploring would come later. For now, all he wanted to do was go to the beach. He wasn’t looking to go swimming at the moment, but instead just relax in the sand. It reminded him a lot of Goldshore, and he had to admit the water always made him feel at peace.

Settling on a towel a ways away from the crowd there, he would lay back, eyes covered by a pair of sunglasses he just happened to snag from someone’s bag. After a few minutes, he would notice an approaching figure, one who looked familiar. Raising himself up slightly, his suspicions would be confirmed.

The dummy before him was more than dead.  In fact, the demigod would bet money it shouldn’t even be standing...  it was serving its purpose.  The sword gripped loosely in his hand spoke to experience  (  although, not the blade he trusted most  ).  Rolling back his shoulders, fingers flexing, before Percy is on it again.  There are worse ways to spend an afternoon.
