Quarters is finally back, safe, and in intensive care. Goddamn I was worried about the Big Guy. Wanderin’ off a few days is normal, but he was gone fer so long… and it looks like Slick did a serious number on ‘im… he ain’t gonna walk away without scars on this one.

When they brought ‘im in, I was surprised he was alive. Goddamn, he can take a lot.

I’m just happy he’s home. Mike’s one’a the better friends I got. I missed the billiards games n’ chattin’ about nothin’. Hell, I missed the sparrin’, too. I hope he makes a quick recovery from all that bruisin’ so I can give ‘im a few fresh ones over a little boxin’. Heh…
