         ‘  I’M  NOT  EVEN  MAD  ,     man  .  it’s  ,  like  ,  whatever  .  ’  it’s  the  fourth  time  this  week  ,  too  .  rich  crumples  the  note  in  one  strong  hand  ,  taking  careful  aim  at  the  trashcan  down  the  hall  .  he  cares  a  little  about  the  insults  ,  but  he’s  not  willing  to  let  on  .  ‘  how  much  d’you  bet  i  can  make  this  shot  ?  ’

     he SPUTTERS for a second, face flushing slightly but he laughs anyways, giving his friend a gentle shove before flopping back against the bean bag with a soft pomf and looking at michael with slightly embarrassed but happy faux-fear.

     “ they -- !!!! they go for a lot of money in the black market !!! what if someone’s short on cash and they don’t wanna sell their own kidneys so they break into my house and like -- they, like, TAKE my kidneys while i’m SLEEPING !!! ” he laughs again, pressing his face into his hands. this was stupid, sure, but he’s giggling too hard at himself to really do anything else.
