This meticulous work has allowed me to transform a broken piece into a unique and precious work of art. Kintsugi is an ancient Japanese repair method that involves restoring broken ceramics with gold or silver. This technique highlights imperfections and gives new life to objects otherwise destined to be discarded. In this project, I carefully gathered the fragments of the broken ceramic and used a special lacquer mixed with silver powder to assemble them in an elegant and refined manner. The result is this splendid gintsugi half-sphere, which embodies the beauty of imperfection and resilience in the face of adversity.
