#friday They tried to bury us, they didn’t know we were seeds… 🌿 Prayers and healing 4 all of our relatives passed and present who have been murdered and impacted by colonialism, Christianity and white supremacy. There are more truths, work and healing to be done before we can even imagine what a fully liberated and just world looks like. 💚🕯🙏🏾 #fridayvibes #fridaymood #mmip #halfthestoryhasneverbeentold #Repost @daylaborernetwork ・・・ Repost @decolonialactionlab . . . From Alaska to Africa to Australia, in South America or the Middle East there has been an ongoing project to erase, convert and/or exterminate the indigenous people. Kids, women, men, elderly, and our customs, knowledge, sacredness and future. They destroyed our homes, our temples, our gardens, sculptures, paints, art, our books written in amate paper or deer skin. They stole our art, gold, jewels and artifacts. They destroyed the majority of our people and knowledge. But guess what? We are still here. We have been here for thousands and thousands of years. And we will remain and heal and thrive. On comparison, just after a few hundreds of years the colonial project destroyed, pollute and put in risk the whole planet, thee whole humanity, including the Earth’s atmosphere. Is time for a change, for a deep justice and reparations that includes the acceptance that the biggest genocide in our history happens in the American Continent. And to completely stop the colonial project and the way the majority of the people in the planet are treated as slaves in order to produce colorful and worthless products and how the earth and the ecosystems are treated as commodities and thus destroyed. #stolenchildren #residentialschool #kkkanada #colonization #decolonization #mmiwg2 #indianboardingschools #residentialschools #genocide #catholicchurch #erasure #MMIWG2S #nocanadaday (at Los Angeles, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/CRHVdSBA56B/?utm_medium=tumblr
