Located within @hfxstanfield you’ll find @lacocinamexicanayhz. This newly opened Mexican restaurant has your standard selection of Mexican fare, lots of Mezcal, and a welcoming vibe. My Mezcal margarita was big and bold, and really showcased the smoky characteristics of the drink. My tacos on the other hand were mediocre at best. They came out cool and were served on a fairly ordinary tortilla. By toasting the shell and focusing on refining the fillings they could see major improvements.
