sometimes i forget the weight of what happened with nolan, mark n debbie in s1
like underneath all the memes and other events, he really went and said all of that to them, beating them down literally and emotionally "what's another 17 years, i can always make another" "what will you have after everyone you love is gone", comparing debbie to a pet, something along those lines, etc etc, like jesus christ, total detachment
i understand why it happened, his viltrumite upbringing and hes trying to be better now but WOW some horrifying shit
id rather he try to be better than remaining the same of course but man cannot be fr in thinking forgiveness will be handed for effort after everything that was done, you can't just take that back
