It's because people not from the south assume the south is just made of quaint and slightly racist old timey towns, rather than the possibility that a southern city can also be large. (At least, that's what I've figured)

Okay, so I have a question - when would it be appropriate for someone to be referred to as Hispanic? I'm just trying to unlearn the wrong stuff and I'm starting to get a little confused. ♡

Okay so here’s the dealio. You can call someone Hispanic when they’re native Spanish speakers. Period. But keep in mind, some Spanish speakers from colonized nations will not like it. Of course, this is like a per person issue so they’ll let you know if they don’t like being referred to as Hispanic. You could compare it to like calling Indians Englishman maybe or idk, Australians Englishman. I can’t really think of a solid comparison. Also, keep in mind, Spaniards are not latinxs. Period.

But that’s really it. It’s not too hard. When in doubt, use latinx.

it was crazy, i’m way better now that i’ve eaten but all night/morning ive had stomach pains and just general upset stomach bc of my period and all night i kept having the same “oh i woke up and it’s only 4am” dream with a variations of “it’s 4am” “its 2 am” “its 8:30?!!!” “it’s 4 am” until i woke up and I no longer knew what was real

also with one weird dream where my room mate and i were trying to save all these fictional/historical figures and animals who were all shrunk tee-tiny and we were trying to keep them in separate containers so the cowboys wouldnt kill the native americans etc

Hey there! Autistic working Customer Service in the retail world - I'm constantly commended on my customer service, and the key is to right away understand what your role is and memorize one key script, then as you encounter situations, memorize the procedures. Then you can just mix and match the scripts! Also, getting into the role of customer service employee helps to disconnect you from the situation and realize the customer is just upset with "work you" and not "real you."
