Morgn!! Ok so far he’s apart of a species that I just developed/still developing for a homebrew Space-themed DnD campaign that me and a few friends are doing. Everything is still in the worldbuilding stage but I’m liking how my boy is turning out so far. 

His species is called Praax (Puh-rah-x), which they’re somewhat humanoid. Main features are their eyes (two of which have no pupils and are just basically colorful nebulae) and the 3rd eye is mainly for seeing in the dark (and it looks hella cool). Their world has about 4-5 hours of daylight and then the rest of it is covered in darkness (with some reflection from their many moons) but their world (Praxyl) has the bioluminescent qualities of Pandora from the Avatar movie, except it’s not all tropical. It has some frozen wastelands as well. Pintrest board. 

They have a good mix of technology/solarpunk ish and magic (so my baby is a Sorceror i’m so excited). But back to my baby, who has black eyes with sivler speckles, he’s sort of shunned (ish) because of his eyes. It’s a social taboo/bad luck etc to not have colorful eyes and my poor boy drew the short genetic straw but he’s pretty capable- went into the military and all that just to say “fuck you all” 

and that’s all i got so far for him. still writing/developing. :D

I might draw out a few Praax and make them into adoptables idk yet

Thank you for sharing some of our territory's issues with a much broader audience than they ever usually get! It's been wonderful to see things about the territory on my dash lately — some of which I wouldn't likely have seen otherwise.

          Mahariel:  Murder. 

Among the Sabrae clan, even hunting an animal was considered shameful and every meal is eaten with guilt. Little prayers are whispered before letting the last dagger fly or springing the trap, in hopes of forgiveness if not, leniency from the Gods. 

After being forced to become a Warden (and then accepting it), Mahariel learned that murder was necessary in her line of duty. The more darkspawn she killed, the easier it was to kill. Mahariel quickly remembered the clan she grew up in when Zevran crossed their path and in the end let him live. Later on she let Alistair swing the sword against Loghain, knowing that his bitterness and anger was far stronger than hers and in hopes that the act would cease the boiling of blood. 

From a certain standpoint, Mahariel can accept someone’s actions and their justification. However, if the foul actions are used against her squad members or clan, there would be no stopping her from using murder for necessity out of protection.

         Lavellan: Lying

Nuala always prided herself on never telling a lie to her Keeper. That is, when the Second sneaked out of camp to watch some nearby Shems and Nuala promised to cover for them. The Keeper knew Nuala was lying and pretended to go along with it only until the Second returned to camp. The Second got into more trouble than Nuala did for lying because the Keeper told her that she understood why Nuala lied in the first place.

Among the ranks of the Inquisition before its forming, Nuala thought it rather smart to lie since Lady Cassandra knew nothing about her. But decided to quit with the long stories when a certain dwarf caught onto various minor details. She knew that lying and swindling her way with Shems would open a lot of doors but knew that they could swing an axe across her neck and be done with her without a single tear. 

So when someone does lie to Nuala, she knows but she doesn’t take offense to it, instead pointing out the truth for them to confess.  She never deals harsh punishment to those who lie out of fear or protection for others.

Yeah he’s fine for now. He just needs lots of bedrest and hoepfully his lungs are okay? The dr did an chest x ray at the last minute bc it was ordered but never done and idk he’s still a bit out of it and not understanding some things
