What we're looking at is a sea urchin. Its spines were gently moving and one could have seen its teeth right in the center also known as Aristotle's lanterns. This last bit even more precious when we know the philosophe was born in this specific Macedonian region and taught the young Alexander, etc. Suppose I should fact check.
